J.J.Bistritzky

Mr Bistritzky, born in Poland, is one of the most important personalities in the world of music today. He was instrumental in the revival of the Chopin Competition in Warsaw after the Second World War and ran the competition for several years before moving to Israel to start and run the Rubinstein competition since 1974 with the full co-operation of Arthur Rubinstein-a close friends for many years.

A lecture/recital on Arthur Rubinstein

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. J.J. Bistritzky.

The piano recital will include several of Rubinstein�s favoured pieces by F. Chopin. Pianists participating in this recital: Wing Chong Kam, Ka Ling Lee, Zuo Zang and Rachel Cheung.
