Vitaly Samoshko

Born in Kharkov in the Ukraine, he received his first musical training at the Special School of Music in Kharkov and then at the Kharkov Conservatory where he was taught by Leonid Margarius under whom he then continued his studies at the International Piano Academy �Incontri col Maestro?in Imola, Italy.

Vitaly participated in numerous competitions and received prizes at the Busoni Competition , Italy (1993), International Piano Competition in Montreal (1996) and the A. Rubisntein Piano Master Competition in Israel 1998. In 1999 he received the first prize at the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition held in Brussels.

He had played with numerous orchestras including the Tokyo Philarmonic, the Orchestra Symphonique de Montreal, the Orchestre National de Belgique and the St. Petersburg State Symphony and has appeared in Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and the USA.
