Born in Malaysia in 1985. He got a Bachelor's Degree at the Staatliche Musikhochschule, Freiburg, Germany and a Master's Degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, UK. He has participated and won prizes in numerous international competitions and has been the recipient of several scholarships. He has performed in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, China, Japan, Brunei, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the UK.
