The indisputable winner of the International Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition 2016, Lukáš Vondráˇcek made his first public appearance at the age of four. His debut as a fifteen-year-old in 2002 with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy was followed by a major US tour in 2003. His natural and assured musicality and remarkable technical ability have long marked him out as a gifted and mature musician. He has worked with conductors including Paavo Järvi, Gianandrea Noseda, Marin Alsop, Christoph Eschenbach, Pietari Inkinen, Vasily Petrenko, Jakub Hr˚uša, Anu Tali, Xian Zhang, Krzysztof Urbanski, Stéphane Denève and Alexander Lazarev.

Highlights of the 2016/17 season include concerts with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre national de Belgique, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Orquesta de Gran Canaria, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and a return to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He will tour Brazil, India and appear in recitals in Hong Kong, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Prague’s Rudolfinum and Klavier-Festival Ruhr.

Recent recitals have taken Lukáš to London’s Wigmore Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, Zurich’s Tonhalle, Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Casa da Música in Porto, Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Washington Performing Arts Society, Boston Celebrity Series as well as Festival La Roque d’Anthéron, Gilmore Festival and the renowned Piano aux Jacobins series in Toulouse amongst others.

He works regularly with ensembles such as the London and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras, the Philharmonia and Gulbenkian orchestras, Wiener Symphoniker, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Washington’s National and Cincinnati Symphony orchestras. Recent highlights include a tour of Spain with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi and a highly successful tour of Australia including appearances with the West Australian and Sydney Symphony orchestras.

International awards include first prizes at the Hilton Head and San Marino International Piano Competitions and Unisa International Piano Competition in Pretoria, South Africa, as well as the Raymond E. Buck Jury Discretionary Award at the 2009 International Van Cliburn Piano Competition.

Following studies at the Academy of Music in Katowice and the Vienna Conservatoire Lukáš Vondráˇcek obtained an Artist Diploma from Boston’s New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Hung-Kuan Chen, graduating with Honours in 2012.

His first commercial recording, a solo album for Octavia Records, was released in 2004 followed by another recital disc in 2012. His most recent CD, a recording of works by Brahms was released in autumn 2013 on the ORF label.

4歲起即公開演出，2002年僅15歲便首次與捷克交響樂團合作，由阿殊堅納西擔任指揮，2003年展開旅美巡迴演出。

音樂天才，藝巧高超，成熟穩重的音樂家。至今已與諸多世界知名指揮合作，包括有帕沃•賈維､迦南德里亞•諾斯達、馬林•阿爾索普､克里斯托夫•艾森巴赫､皮特里•因奇倫、瓦西里•佩特連科､雅克•胡薩､阿努•塔莉､張弦､克里斯多夫•烏爾邦斯基、史提芬•丹奈佛和亞歷山大•拉扎列夫。

2016/17樂季的亮點包括：與費城樂團、奧斯陸愛樂樂團､比利時國家管弦樂團、盧森堡愛樂樂團､格蘭坎納利亞愛樂樂團､聖彼得堡愛樂、比利時列日皇家愛樂及新澤西交響樂團的合作演出。其將於巴西､印度巡演，並將於香港、萊比鍚布商大廈音樂廳、布拉格魯道夫音樂廳和魯爾音樂節上表演鋼琴獨奏。

他亦定期與倫敦愛樂、皇家利物浦愛樂、古本江管弦樂團、維也納交響樂團、蘇黎世樂團、柏林樂團、NDR漢堡樂團、NHK交響樂團、華盛頓國家樂團、辛辛那提樂團等合作。近期與巴斯克交響樂團於西班牙巡演，他在西澳洲及和悉尼交響樂團的澳洲合作巡演獲得巨大成功。

范特捷是希爾頓黑德，聖瑪利諾和UNISA國際鋼琴比賽首獎得主，也是范克萊本國際鋼琴大賽Raymond E.Buck評審特別獎和Hanno R. Ellenbogen最傑出的歐洲年輕藝術家獎的獲獎人，並於2015年獲頒為捷克奧帕瓦「傑出榮譽市民」稱號。

他在2012年取得波士頓新英格蘭音樂學院藝術家文憑，師從陳宏寬。

2004發行首張獨奏專輯由Octavia 唱片發行，2012年發行另一張其獨奏音樂會專輯。最新專輯由ORF於2013年秋季發行，乃其演奏布拉姆斯的作品。。
