The 44 Contestants (Quarter finalists) are requested to send a digital video recording (in any standard format) of an up to 70 minutes performance of a well balanced programme of pieces selected and as directed, from the list below.

You can have your performance recorded professionally or self-record it. If you are going to self-record your audition, please, do a test to check the sound and the image before you embark in your performance. The camera should be fixed and capture your full body at all times, (a close shot of head, torso, hands and feet, which should allow the viewer to see and hear a perfect synchronization between your hands and the sound), making sure that the recording of each piece is done in a single take, without interruption(s) in the recording, to ensure the compliance with the no editing rule.

The most important aspect to take into consideration when sending the recording of your competition performance is that it should reflect the best of your ability at that particular place and time, to perform the programme you have put together for your participation in Round I -Quarter finals of the competition. Each Member of the Jury should, in different parts of the world, be able to have the experience of watching and listening to you performing as a second best choice to listening to you live. Therefore, NO EDITING please.

The authenticity of the recording will be thoroughly tested before sending it to each of the members of the Jury. Any doubts as to the authenticity of the recording may disqualify the contestant from participating.

Please note, the programme you are going to build up with pieces from the list below can include pieces that were chosen for the Preliminary Audition, although they should be played and recorded anew, when recording the performance of your participation in Round I – Quarter finals of the Competition.
