Present events in Hong Kong make it uncertain whether we will be able to run an uninterrupted series of Competition Rounds and other musical events and presentations which form an integral part of the Competition/Festival period.

The Society feels that it is in the best interest of the audience, the overseas and local candidates, overseas and local members of the jury, overseas and local invited participating artists, overseas and local guests and, of course, our sponsors who are funding these events, to postpone the Competition for a time when all concerned and involved would be able to enjoy the uninterrupted running of the events in peaceful surroundings.

The Society regrets any inconvenience caused to all participating in the Competition/Festival in one way or another and promises even more exciting events for 2015 and 2016!

The Society has been given full cooperation and backing by its major sponsors and is now actively planning the Competition/Festival for 2016 (dates to be announced shortly).

We will be announcing the details of the next Competition through our internet site and social media.

However the Society, as a form of “Thank You” to its friends and audience is organizing three piano recitals by the three first prize winners of our past three Competitions, to take place at the City Hall Concert Hall at 8.00 pm as follows:

Friday 24 October, Piano recital by Ilya Rashkovskiy (2005)

Saturday 25 October, Piano recital by Jinsang Lee (2008)

Sunday 26 October, Piano recital by Giuseppe Andaloro (2011)

Entrance will be free of charge and there will be a free seating arrangement.
Tickets for the free admission to each one of the recitals are being distributed now on a first come first served basis at the Enquiries Counter, the Hong Kong City Hall, or booked by calling the offices of the Society at 2868 3387, 2868 3325, mobile 9027 1429 or by e-mailing to afreris@netvigator.com your name, the day(s) of the performance(s) you wish to attend and the number of tickets required. We will then contact you for arrangements on how to collect your tickets. Details of the programs to be posted in our official Website, Facebook & Twitter.

On each one of the days when we will be presenting the “THANK YOU” piano recitals, Ilya, Jinsang and Giuseppe will take turns to give piano master classes according to the following schedule:
