		Monday 26th September 2016 – 20:00 - THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL - A Guitar Recital by Alvaro Pierri playing music by Agustin Barrios & Isaac Albeniz

First Round

Up to 43 participants to perform between 27^th September and 1^st October 2016 according to the following schedule:

	- Tuesday 27th - Wednesday 28th - Thursday 29th - Friday 30th		There will be 4 performances in the morning and 4-6 performances in the afternoon/evening, each performance lasting no longer than 40 minutes. Morning session will commence at 09:30am Afternoon session will commence at 16:30
	-Saturday 1st		There will be 3 performances in the morning, each performance lasting no longer than 40 minutes. Morning session will commence at 09:30am.

Saturday 1^st October, at 17:00 - The announcement of Contestants going on to Round II will be posted in the notice board of the competition at the City Hall and in this website

		Saturday 1st October 2016 – 20:00 - THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL - A Piano Recital by Chloe Jiyeong Mun (1st Prize Winner of the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition - 2015)

		Sunday 2nd October 2016 – 20:00 - THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL - A Piano Recital by Lukáš Vondráček (1st Prize Winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition – 2016)

Second Round (quarter finals)

Up to 18 Quarter Finalists will be performing as follows:

	- Monday 3rd - Tuesday 4th		There will be 3 performances in the morning and 3-4 performances in the afternoon/evening, each performance lasting no longer than 75 minutes. Morning session will commence at 09:30am. Afternoon session will commence at 17:00.0
	- Wednesday 5th		There will be 3-4 performances in the morning, each performance lasting no longer than 75 minutes. Morning session will commence at 09:30am.

Wednesday 5^thOctober 2016, at 18:00 – The announcement of
6 Semi Finalists/Finalists will be posted in the notice board of thecompetition at the City Hall and in this website.

		Wednesday 5th October 2016 – 20:00 - THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL - A Piano Recital by Dmitry Masleev (1st Prize Winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition - 2015)

		Thursday 6th October 2016– 20:00 - THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL - A Piano Recital by Anna Tsybuleva (1st Prize Winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition - 2015) With a guest appearance of Ivan Agafonov (viola)

Third Round (Semi Finals - chamber music)

6 Semi Finalists/Finalists to perform on Friday 7^th and Saturday 8^th Oct. 2016 according to the following schedule:

	- Friday 7th - Saturday 8th		There will be 3 performances (piano quintets) each evening of these two days. Performances will commence at 19:00

Fourth Round (Finals – concertos)

6 Semi Finalists/Finalists to perform on Sunday 9^th and Monday 10^th Oct. 2016 according to the following schedule:

	- Sunday 9th - Monday 10th		There will be 3 performances (piano concertos) each evening of these two days. Performances will commence at 19:00

Monday 10^th Oct. 2016 - After the last performance, Jury deliberation and public announcement of the Winners of the 4^th Hong Kong International Piano Competition 2016.

This announcement will be posted in the notice board of the competition at the City Hall and in this website.

		Tuesday 11th October 2016THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL       19:00 - Prize giving Ceremony and The Winners’ Gala Performance, (Performances by the first prize winners of our 2005 (Ilya Rashkovskiy), 2008 (Jinsang Lee), 2011 (Giuseppe Andaloro) and 2016 Hong Kong International Piano Competitions).

		Wednesday 12th October 2016THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL       19:00 - Gala Performance by Members of the Jury (Tigran Alikhanov, Mikhail Voskresensky and Stefan Vladar playing chamber music with the Logos quartet)

		Thursday 13th October 2016THE JOY OF MUSIC FESTIVAL       19:00 - Gala Performance by Members of the Jury (Peter Frankl, Pascal Roge and Peter Donohoe playing piano concertos with the official orchestra of the competition)
